Director’s Dream

Director’s Dream

The resonance of a dream, its mood and emotional imprint, is one of the Director’s most delicate tools. It can make us more cautious or more daring without us knowing why. It can shift our perception so that certain things seem more important, or others fade into the background.

The attention of the Cosmic Mind is not always loud or dramatic. It moves through us as an undercurrent, adjusting the flow of our days in ways that seem like our own choices.

Reality as we perceive it is like a living in a spaceship with no windows. The crew cannot look out into the universe directly.

Instead, their entire understanding of “outside” comes from the cockpit’s array of instruments. Dials, gauges, screens, and displays, each translating external conditions into a symbolic language they can read.

A needle points to a number, a screen flashes a warning, a digital bar rises or falls. Every piece of data is filtered, interpreted, and constrained by the design of the dashboard.

These readings are not the reality itself. They are abstractions, carefully crafted to be useful, but inevitably incomplete. They tell you the temperature, but not the feel of the wind. They tell you the radiation levels, but not the colour of the light. They give you coordinates, but not the beauty of the stars.
